Portland
So our first week was mainly finding our feet and getting used to living in a small space. We met with Dan from Vanworx at the start of the week to go through our snagging list and extra jobs to do to Han.
As Vanworx worked on the list for us we made the most of the warm and sunny weather by heading to Portland Bill enjoying lovely walks on the cliff side and enjoying ice-creams overlooking the sea. The dogs are loving being walked so often every day! We also climbed to the top of Portland Bill lighthouse - sadly the weather changed that afternoon and was a tad wet and misty. We also paid a visit to the nearby Chesil Beach - England’s only natural World Heritage Site and it was pretty amazing - in the region of 17 miles of natural shingle bank, millions of gorgeous smooth pebbles.
With most jobs now completed on the van but just waiting on a few parts we will head off to explore Cornwall and Devon having arranged to come back to see Vanworx 2nd week in October when we will have some new bits fitted and the rest of the snagging jobs completed.
Lots of love T&TA x
