When life chucks you lemons, make lemonade.

As with anything, there is usually a catalyst behind any decision that you make in life and the life you make for yourself is as a direct result of the choices you have and the decisions you make.

The catalyst? One of us working for a French private bank which was nothing short of a toxic environment that eventually sucks the life out of you (see my blog post 7 Sep 2021). And the other, well it was an ideal time for a change!

So we decided to do something about it and since we both love travelling, we did something a little off the wall, we sold the house and bought a van!

We have always enjoyed life to the full, making sure we surrounded ourselves with our support network, our fantastic families and awesome friends.

So this blog is about us, and the decision to take a break from the rat race and travel. No fixed destinations, we just thought we’d make it up as we go along. Keep it exciting and keep people guessing where we might be heading!

Spend time chasing the seasons either in the mountains or somewhere on the coast, combining our love for snowboarding, surfing and mountain biking. Just go and see different places, meet new people and importantly just breathe!
