North Devon

So time to head to North Devon - Damage Barton. We left Bude on a beautiful warm sunny day and on our way to the camp site we stopped off at Saunton Sands. The pups had a wonderful time enjoying the freedom of being off the lead for a second time this week.

We met up with a Guernsey mate, Jez Browning, who then headed off with Tubbs for an early evening surf session before we headed up to the camp site to chill for the evening. Tubbs and Jez enjoyed a couple more surf sessions over the next few days, surfing Putsborough and Woolacombe too, despite the changeable weather now becoming a bit colder and windy. The boys happened to say that they’d now surfed a wave weaker than Vazon, welcome to Woolacombe!

We had a lovely day down in Woolacombe, enjoying the sunshine and a pint or 2 with lunch. The pups enjoyed another race around the beach meeting lots of other dogs and generally having fun. Unfortunately Storm Alex hit towards the end of the week so an ideal opportunity to just kick back and be cozy in the van catching up on reading as well as planning for the next week.

Next Stop is Brighton, Eastbourne actually, to hook up with the guys at Blok Pod to kit out our garage with a bespoke storage system they have built for us. It couldn’t come soon enough…update to follow shortly with pics…

Lots of love T&TA x
